Caroljoy Green

I have my ARCT in Speech Arts & Drama through the Royal Conservatory. I offer group classes and private coaching for young children, youth, teens and adults. Students can choose to prepare scenes, poetry, mime, story telling and public speaking as well as Royal Conservatory Speech Arts and Drama practical exams. I also teach RCM speech arts theory courses. I'm passionate about helping students find their voice, connect with literature and communicate with power. I opened my own studio, "SHINE! Speech Arts & Drama" in 2016 after years of "subbing" in the field. My students have earned excellent marks in practical and theory exams, and won first place at the provincial level (Performing Arts BC Festival). I've adjudicated speech arts festivals in Williams Lake, Quesnel and Burns Lake, BC. I teach high school drama at Cedars Christian School, where I have a drama troupe through the Theatre Arts Education Association of Canada. I've earned a BA in Philosophy, Cum Laude, from Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois.
