Deanna Wells

Jerseyville Road Studio Private vocal, piano, and/or theory lessons now available at Jerseyville Road Studio for students of all ages and levels. My name is Deanna Wells, and I have my Bachelor of Music from McMaster University majoring in Classical vocal, where I graduated with honours, summa cum laude. I am also an honours graduate of the Mohawk College Music program with a diploma in Classical Vocal performance. I also hold RCM certificates in Theory. I offer half an hour and hour lessons with an emphasis on developing proper technique, theory, and on performance. I hold two recitals a year so that my students have motivation to practice. I can also get students ready for Royal Conservatory of Music exams in Piano, Vocal, and theory. I can also prepare potential music major students for their entrance auditions into University or College in Theory, and Voice. For theory lessons, I follow the RCM guidelines and program. I also have many students who prefer to learn popular music for the joy of it, (including jazz, rock, pop, and Broadway music) with an emphasis on creativity, and confidence building.
