Frank Caruso

I am a PIANO teacher located in the east end of Toronto offering both in-person and on-line lessons. My teaching goal is to support my students in becoming better musicians, to make their lessons meaningful, and to help them eventually become independent learners of music. I believe in enhancing my students’ music abilities by developing not just their technique and music reading skills, but also by developing their ability to play by ear or from lead sheets, improvise, and enhance simple arrangements, as desired. I have successfully prepared students for Royal Conservatory of Music examinations and also offer a wide variety of teaching repertoire from various styles to develop the musicality of my students. I love teaching and have over 25 years experience as both a school music teacher and as a private instructor - from young children to older adults.
