Queenie Wenhui Yang

Ms. Queenie Yang has performed as a soloist and collaborative pianist and has worked as Regional Representative of British Columbia of Royal Conservatory of Music since 2018. She is a graduate of ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance, RCM Certified Advanced Piano & Theory Teacher, undergraduate of Music Degree of South China Normal University, and an active Member and Provincial Delegate of British Columbia Registered Music Teacher Association. As a devoted piano teacher, Queenie’s passion and rigor for music are striking positive chords with her students. Her students have constantly achieved First Honour with Distinction standing in the RCM exam. Specifically, student Zitong Cao has received the Gold Medal with the highest mark in BC & Yukon Region in the 2019-2020 academic year. Queenie also tries to uncover the potential of every student and inspire them to pursue their musical dream. She encourages and prepares her students for music festivals and competitions, many of whom achieved First-Place standings.
