YUFANG SHAO

I am a piano teacher with 12 years of teaching experience in West Vancouver and Coquitlam, BC.

My students all prepare for RCM piano exams, as well as local competitions that are highly recognized and reputable.

I am especially skilled at teaching young beginners, which is closely related to my background in early childhood education and research in China.

In my piano teaching, I place great emphasis on developing good learning habits—such as thinking, listening, communicating, working diligently, and singing. These habits not only help them learn piano more effectively, but also benefit them in other areas of study.

I truly enjoy working with children. Growing together with them and watching them develop into well-rounded, excellent individuals brings me immense fulfillment in my work.
