Course Description

This theory class is in person only at the Oscar Peterson School of Music's downtown Toronto location.

Visit Level 9 Harmony (Online) for classes delivered via Zoom (summer only)

NOTE: Tuition does not include textbooks or exam. Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks and registering for exams.

the Middle Ages (chant, organum, motet, chanson, instrumental dance music)
the Renaissance Era (motet, mass, madrigal, chanson, keyboard music)
the Baroque Era (opera, cantata, concerto grosso, orchestral suite, keyboard music)
the Classical Era (symphony, oratorio, opera, piano concerto, sonata, chamber music)
