Aditi Vellodi

I am an experienced music teacher specializing in piano, voice, and theory. Learning music involves more than just the fingers and the voice; children and young adults who study music integrate multiple skill sets, often at the same time. Musical experiences in childhood, especially, have been shown to expedite brain development. My students have successfully completed RCM examinations with First Class Honours and Distinction. Most importantly, it brings me joy to see how their love for music grows over the years. I have earned my ARCT in piano pedagogy, voice, and music theory. I received the 2020-21 Gordon Hallett Memorial Scholarship for obtaining the highest aggregate mark in both the written and practical ARCT Piano Teacher's examinations, as well as the 2020-21 Adelmo Melecci Scholarship for obtaining the highest mark in Ontario for the ARCT Piano Teacher's complete practical examination.
