Claire Butler

I am a professional musician and educator. I studied piano and violin at the Royal College of Music in London UK. I am from Yorkshire England but now reside in Calgary. I have a busy private studio teaching violin, piano and theory. I am the music specialist at Montessori School of Calgary, artistic director of Shine Music Camp. I give early childhood music workshops for Montessori Teacher's College and freelance as consultant. I perform regularly as a soloist and in chamber music. I am a nominee for YYC Awards Music Educator/Ensemble Director of the Year 2024.
