Edith’s performances have been praised by adjudicators as “captivating,” “sensational,” “musical,” “virtuosic,” “full of terrific energy,” and marked by “fantastic brilliance” and “wonderful dexterity.” Her artistry and stage presence have earned her numerous accolades at both international and regional piano competitions, including the 7th WPTA Finland International Piano Competition (2025), the Carles and Sofia International Piano Competition (2024 and 2025), the Eleventh Stockholm International Music Competition, and the Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition (2024). In Canada, she was a finalist at the Provincials of the Ontario Music Festivals Association (2023), and she was recognized earlier at the 10th Hong Kong Piano Open Competition, hosted by the Hong Kong Piano Music Association.

Edith has over 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages, from young children to adults, each with their own personalities, abilities, and learning needs. She focuses on helping her students develop balanced technique, cultivating both beautiful tone and dexterity along with a broad musical skill set. Known for recognizing the unique strengths of every student, Edith inspires them through her passion for piano performance. She also prepares her students to perform at their best in recitals by sharing practical strategies for managing stage anxiety drawn from her own performing experience. Her students have consistently achieved outstanding results, earning First Class Honours or higher in RCM examinations, as well as top-three awards in piano competitions.

In August 2025, she performed the first movement of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Op. 37, as a soloist with the Cornero Festival Orchestra under Maestro Lorenzo Di Bella in Recanati, Italy. In April 2024, as a winner of the audition class at the Unionville Music Competition in Toronto, she collaborated as a guest pianist with the Bedford Trio, a professional trio and the Artist in Residence at the University of Toronto in performing the Clara Schumann piano trio op. 17 in the Winners’ concert 2024 held at a prominent church in downtown Toronto.

Edith is also a lawyer and was called to the bar of Hong Kong in 2022 and had substantial managerial work experience in the luxury watch and jewelry industry. To continue her legal journey in Toronto, she has completed an executive Master of Laws (GPLLM) program with outstanding results and also undertaking an additional LLM program to fulfil the academic requirements mandated by the Law Society for foreign-trained lawyers seeking admission in Canada. Her ability to balance a rigorous legal career with a vibrant musical life speaks to her discipline, versatility, and deep dedication to both crafts.
