Ingrid Smith

I have been teaching vocal technique for 25 years and began studying voice in Ottawa, ON., in 1976. My teachers were professional, and active opera performers. I teach proper vocal technique which can applied to Country, Pop, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Opera, Oratorio, etc. I am not limited to Classical/Opera music but have a vast knowledge for the genres mentioned. I keep up with what is current and popular. Most students have achieved First Class Honours and First Class Honours with Distinction in both Singing and Piano exams of the RCM. Many have gone on to study further at Universities such as: York U. (Toronto area), Acadia (Nova Scotia), Queens University. I teach: Beginners to Advanced levels for Voice lessons, and Beginners to intermediate, for Piano lessons. Zoom lessons available.
