For over 30 years, I have endeavoured to encourage all of my students to "sing for the love of it." In many cases, past students have studied both voice and piano simultaneously with me. I have worked with students aged 6 and up. My oldest student was 80 and wished to study singing after a long career as a doctor. Many of my students have pursued RCM examinations and have achieved success, often beyond their own expectations.
In Burlington, where I live, I teach in the homes of my students. In Toronto, where I work at St. Andrew's United Church, Toronto (Yonge and Bloor), I am afforded worship space for private teaching. With Covid, I have also taught online.
