Mermi Vosough

Mermi Vosough is a certified piano teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) with over 22 years of teaching experience and 32 years of Piano Performance. As the Director of Mermi Music Academy, she has established a leading music school in North Vancouver, recently recognized as one of the Top 3 Best Rated Music Schools for 2025.

Mermi’s musical journey began at age six with Orff training, later progressing to intensive piano study under renowned professional instructors. She holds a Conservatory Diploma of Music and a degree in Music Education from Macquarie University (Sydney, Australia). Her performance excellence was highlighted in 2004 when she received the First Place Award for Best Piano Performance at the Beethoven Music Festival.

After a distinguished career teaching at several esteemed music schools in British Columbia, Mermi founded her own academy in 2019. Today, Mermi Music Academy is a trusted choice for families in Central Lonsdale, known for fostering a genuine love of music in students of all ages.

Mermi specializes in Elementary and Intermediate Piano Pedagogy, RCM Exam Preparation, Theory, and Voice. She remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians through high-quality, professional instruction that inspires confidence and creativity.
